Push-ups are brilliant in their simplicity and effectiveness.

Begin your push-ups with your feet approximately six inches apart.

Keep your eyes up, your core tight and your elbows slightly bent.

Lower your body until your upper arm is parallel to the ground and your elbows are approximately ninety degrees.

Press yourself back up to the starting position by flexing your pecs and pushing the floor away from you.
